Everyday life and studying in Germany

Basis-Deutsch A1.1 Who are you, where do you live, what do you do? These are the first questions you want to ask and answer in Germany.

Basis-Deutsch A1.2 Living in Germany means working, getting around town, shopping and much more. In this class, you learn the most important communication tools for starting a life in Germany.

Basis-Deutsch A2.1 Living, working, spending leisure time in Germany. Building on what you learned in the A1 class, we get you ready for everyday German life.

Basis-Deutsch A2.2 Shopping online, booking trips, running errands in the city, banking business – all in German? This class immerses you completely in everyday German life!

Uni-Deutsch B1.1 You get by just fine with your German in everyday life. This course will help you prepare for studying in Germany and provides you with information on academic programmes, study locations and application. Throughout 12 units, you will practise all four language skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking. With Uni-Deutsch B1.1, you take the first steps towards preparing for the TestDaF exam.

Uni-Deutsch B1.2 With this course, you continue your language preparation for a stay in Germany. In 12 chapters, you practise how to master situations in everyday life and at university. The course provides you with strategies for reading, taking notes and doing research during your studies. You will train all four skills and acquire new competences for academic work and the TestDaF.

Uni-Deutsch Sprachkurs B2 You already have advanced German language skills that go beyond the requirements of everyday student life. Expand your knowledge in six interesting subject areas and practise your skills. Using a variety of materials and text types, you will practise vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening comprehension, writing, speaking and grammar.

Uni-Deutsch Studienpraxis B2 Once you arrive at university, it is not only language challenges that await you. You also have to learn how to organise your work and how to communicate in order to gain scientific knowledge during your studies. In this course, you will acquire the key strategies and techniques to organise your academic work efficiently and effectively.

Preparing for the TestDaF

Training TestDaF papierbasiert B2/C1 This class will familiarise you with the paper-based TestDaF format and prepare you for all four components of the test. It's the right class for you if your German is already good and you are planning to take the TestDaF test in the next few months. Once done, you'll know whether you are ready for TestDaF.
