Flexible self-learning with on-site advice

Students at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences study German individually and by themselves on the DUO learning platform. In addition to the general and academic language online modules, the students also have access to weekly consultation hours at the Language Centre. This allows students to learn independently and flexibly and receive targeted support on site if required.

Intensive online course with DUO tutor

With the goal of working as professionals in Germany, Filipino students at DCG Halle prepare for the relevant exams and working life in Germany with the DUO modules. A DUO tutor draws up learning plans, tracks the students' progress on the DUO learning platform, moderates two online meetings a week and offers advice and support to the students in their learning process through individual feedback.

Blended learning with student tutors

International students at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences complete intensive courses with 20 hours of German lessons per week during the lecture-free period. The face-to-face lessons with a local teacher are based on the DUO topics. The tasks and exercises on the DUO learning platform support the face-to-face lessons and are used as preparation and follow-up work. The independent online work is supervised by German as a foreign language students from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, regardless of location.
