German for everyday life and study

DUO modules for teaching in class

Studying in Germany is more than just attending lectures and seminars - it's also about finding your way around the university and your new environment, finding your way in everyday life and making social contacts. With the DUO modules ‘Basic German’, international students at your institution receive ideal preparation for starting their studies in Germany - flexible, digital and practical.

No matter whether (future) students are already in Germany or are preparing for their studies abroad - the ‘Basic German A1.1’ and ‘Basic German A1.2’ modules provide an easy way to start learning German. Even without having any previous knowledge, participants learn quickly how to communicate in everyday life: shopping, talking to flatmates or at university.

Interactive learning materials help them acquire the language skills they need for everyday student life. The exercises are practice-orientated and promote all areas of language skills and provide optimal preparation for life in Germany.
